Sijie Dong, is currently the global partner and senior assistant president of Fosun International, co-CIO of Fosun Banking and Insurance Operating Committee and co-CIO of Fosun Global Investor.

He is mainly responsible for the strategic asset allocation, portfolio management and asset and liability management of Fosun Group's insurance companies and participates in major global merger and acquisition projects of insurance sector. He has served as director of Pramerica Fosun since January 2020.

Prior to joining Fosun, he worked at Taiping Life Insurance, CRRC Chengdu Cor.,LTD and Standard Chartered Bank Chengdu Branch. He graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Master's degree in Accounting and Clemson University with a Master's degree in Business Administration, and is a CFA and FRM holder.

David joined Fosun Asset Management in 2015. He is Managing Director and one of the Investment Committee members of Fosun Asset Management, responsible for buy side corporate credit analysis.

He has 15 years of experience covering high yield, distress, and special situations. Prior to joining Fosun Asset Management, he was the Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Pine River Hong Kong office covering Asian CBs, High Yield, Distress, and Special Situations from December 2009. From 2008-2009, he was the Credit Analyst of Vicis Hong Kong covering Asian CB investments. From 2006-2008, he was a Credit Analyst at Plexus Partners covering European and Asia CBs, Special Situations Investments as well as US Leveraged buyouts. From 2003-2006, he was a Credit Analyst at Asymmetric Capital (partly owned by Jefferies Group) covering Global CBs and European distressed investments. He trained as a Corporate Credit Analyst from 2001-2003 at Abbey National Treasury Services (now part of Santander) where he covered the US and European auto manufacturers and logistics. 

He holds a Master’s degree in Management Information System from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics & Economics from University College London. He is a CFA charterholder.

David joined Fosun Asset Management in 2022. He is the CIO of Alternative Investment, responsible for leading the development and management of alternative investment . He has 20 years of investment experience covering private equity, special situation investment and industrial experience in research and development in data communication research and development.

Prior to joining Fosun Asset Management, he was the member of business management (including investment) committee and Managing Directors of China Great Wall AMC (international) Holdings Company and successively served as Head of Private Equity, Great Bay Area Investment and Special Situation Department From 2014-2016, he was the Investment Director of China Everbright Limited covering private equity investments. From 2008-2014, he was a Director of Private Equity Department at Daiwa Capital Markets Hong Kong. From 2001-2004, he was a Research and Development Engineer at Beijing Research and Development Center of Huawei.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from London Business School and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Nanjing Universitas of Aeronautics And Astronautics.

Samson joined Fosun Asset Management in 2020. He is COO of Fosun Asset Management, responsible for the middle and back office, including functions of risk management, legal, compliance, operations, IT, etc.

He has more than 10 years of experience in AMC risk control and operations management. Prior to joining Fosun Asset Management, he worked in China Taiping Insurance Group Ltd., Taiping Financial Holdings Company Limited, and PingAn Bank.

He holds a Ph.D. in Risk Management and Insurance from Temple University and a Master’s degree in Finance from Xiamen University. He is a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
