About the Company
Fosun Asset Management Limited, sits under the umbrella of Fosun International Limited, was incorporated in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance of Hong Kong as a limited liability company on July 8, 2013, and is licensed with the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong effective March 3, 2016. Fosun Asset Management is also registered with US Securities and Exchange Commission effective March 2, 2018.
Key Responsibilities
1. Alternative Investment Support
- Conduct in-depth research on Asia offshore alternative investment opportunities, including private equity, private credit/direct lending, and special situations (e.g., distressed assets, hybrid investments, structured equity).
- Perform financial modeling (LBO, DCF, credit analysis) and valuation assessments for target companies or assets.
- Support due diligence processes, including industry benchmarking, management interviews, business and financial reviews, technical research, and legal/regulatory reviews.
2. Fundraising Support
- Assist in preparing fundraising materials (e.g., teasers, pitch books) for infrastructure funds targeting renewable energy, transportation, or digital infrastructure projects in Asia.
- Collaborate with investor relations teams to address LP inquiries, conduct market sizing, and track investor feedback.
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory trends impacting infrastructure investments in key Asian jurisdictions.
3. Deal Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate inbound investment opportunities, maintaining a structured pipeline database.
- Prepare internal memos and investment committee presentations, highlighting key risks, returns, and strategic fit.
- Contribute to portfolio company monitoring, including but not limited to performance tracking and ESG compliance reporting.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with legal, tax, and compliance teams to structure cross-border transactions efficiently.
- Support senior team members in ad-hoc projects, such as exit strategy planning or investment negotiations.
Qualifications
1. Education
- Master’s degree or MBA in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields. CFA/CAIA candidates or charterholders are a plus.
2. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling (Excel/VBA) and valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
- Familiarity with databases such as Bloomberg, Preqin, or Capital IQ for market data extraction.
- Basic understanding of Asian regulatory frameworks (e.g., offshore structures in Singapore, Hong Kong, or Cayman Islands).
3. Experience
- At least 3-year experience in Big 4 advisory (M&A advisory, due diligence services, valuations), Big 4 AMC, investment banking (M&A, leveraged finance), or corporate development are highly preferred.
- Candidates transitioning from consulting/IB roles post-MBA into investments are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Visa Requirement: IANG visa holders in Hong Kong will be prioritized.
4. Soft Skills
- Strong analytical rigor and attention to details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin or other Asian languages are advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment with multiple stakeholders.
